La Fête Sauvage brings together solo travelers from all over the world to create a fun, social and backpacker-friendly atmosphere. This Xochimilco Boat Party is designed to help you easily meet people, feel part of the group from the start and experience Mexico in a unique way.
By joining, you’ll also get access to our traveler community in Mexico, where we share meetups, parties and experiences during your trip.
Totally up to you! We’ll hook you up with some tequila shots to get the party started (and beer), but keep in mind — it’s a 4-hour ride. If you’re a heavy drinker or just want to have your favorites on hand, we definitely recommend bringing a little extra to keep the good times flowing!
Yes, we recommend bringing some cash. Most vendors in Xochimilco do not accept card payments.
You may need cash for extra drinks, snacks or restroom access along the canals.
After booking your ticket, you’ll receive clear instructions with the exact meeting point.
You can arrive easily by Uber, taxi or public transportation. During the experience, we make short stops along the canals where you’ll find restrooms, bars and small shops.
If the group is larger than 18 people, we simply arrange an additional boat.
At the beginning, boats may sail separately for a few minutes, and then our trajineros (boat captain) tie them together so everyone can move easily between boats and enjoy the experience as one group.
